BK JIP Pardubice (NBL) inked 25-year old American forward Dwayne Benjamin (201-93, college: Oregon). He played most recently at Blokotehna in FYR Macedonian Prva Liga. In 31 games he recorded 15.0ppg, 5.5rpg, 2.4apg and 1.3spg last season. Benjamin also played 13 games in Balkan League where he was third best scorer with impressive 19.2ppg and had 6.1rpg, 2.1apg and 1.8spg (in top 5). He helped them to make it to the semifinals. A very good season in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Balkan League 2nd Team and League Player of the Week (3 times). He received also Eurobasket.com All-Macedonian League Co-Forward of the Year award in 2018.
Benjamin’s college team won Pac-12 Tournament in 2016.
Benjamin has played previously professionally in Australia (Buccaneers) and Denmark (Bakken).
He attended University of Oregon until 2016 and it will be his third season in pro basketball
